Even though it was written over 3,000 years ago, Song of Solomon, inspired by the Holy Spirit, gives us great instruction and insight on what God has to say about love, romance and marriage.
Training: Song of Solomon
Many people have never studied or heard a sermon on Song of Solomon. If they have, it is generally taught as a metaphor of Christ and the Church, but what if it's really about what it says it's about? Love, attraction, marriage, sex and how to fight fair in a marriage.
You will be excited to learn the "do's" of romance and love rather than the "do nots"!
It's important for our understanding that we learn how the differences in the way God created men and women work together to meet each other's needs.
Conflict in a relationship, if handled properly can help solidify and deepen a marriage.
If it is not handled in the way God instructs us, we end up blaming, feeling sorry for ourselves and trying to "get even." This will, of course, tear us apart rather than unite us and deepen our intimacy.
God is very boundried and He created us to be like Him. Boundaries are about owning your own heart--being authentic. Healthy relationships are relationships that have good boundaries. Unhealthy relationships don't have good boundaries.
Do you want to know what God has to say about romance and love and sex? In this 3,000+ year old book we learn about attraction, dating, courtship, considering the cost, marriage, the honeymoon and how to fight fair in marriage.
Many of us don't realize how important our identity is. It's generally the first thing that the enemy attacks. Most of us think, incorrectly, that our identity flows from our performance, but in the Kingdom, our performance flows from our identity.
